This gene encodes a cell surface receptor necessary for cellular iron uptake by the process of receptor-mediated endocytosis. This receptor is required for erythropoiesis and neurologic development. Multiple alternatively spliced variants have been identified.
The Anti-CD71(FITC) Monoclonal Antibody is a rat monoclonal antibody that recognizes the mouse CD71 antigen.
Reagents or buffers: phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), FITC-conjugated Anti-CD71 antibody, and a flow cytometer.
Sample preparation: Prepare a single-cell suspension from the tissue of interest and wash with PBS.
Antibody incubation: Add 5uL of the Anti-CD71(FITC) antibody to the cell suspension and incubate for 30 minutes at 4°C.
Washing or detection: Wash the cells with PBS and analyze using a flow cytometer.
Technical notes: Optimize the antibody concentration and incubation time for specific applications.
The Anti-CD71(FITC) Monoclonal Antibody is recommended for use at a dilution of 5uL/Test for FCM.
The antibody is specific for the CD71 antigen, which plays a crucial role in cellular iron uptake and is necessary for erythropoiesis and neurologic development.
Use assay conditions validated for FCM, apply Anti-CD71(FITC) Monoclonal Antibody at the recommended working dilution, include proper positive and negative controls, perform thorough wash steps, and document incubation time, temperature, and detection conditions for reproducible performance. Recommended dilution: FCM 5uL/Test..
Store at 2-8°C, handle with care, and optimize antibody concentration and incubation time for specific applications.
