Lab-ready steps

The Goat Anti-Rat IgG/RBITC antibody is designed for use in various applications, including Immunofluorescence (IF) and Flow Cytometry (FCM). The following protocols are recommended for optimal results.

## Immunofluorescence (IF) Protocol

For IF, the recommended dilution is 1:50-500. Reagents needed include the antibody, phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), and a fluorescent microscope. Sample preparation involves fixing cells or tissue sections with a suitable fixative, followed by permeabilization if necessary. The antibody is then incubated with the sample for 1-2 hours at room temperature or overnight at 4°C. CABter washing with PBS, the sample can be visualized using a fluorescent microscope. Technical notes: Use a mounting medium with anti-fade properties to preserve fluorescence.

## Flow Cytometry (FCM) Protocol

For FCM, the recommended dilution is also 1:50-500. Reagents needed include the antibody, PBS, and a flow cytometer. Sample preparation involves suspending cells in PBS and fixing them if necessary. The antibody is then incubated with the cell suspension for 30 minutes to 1 hour on ice. CABter washing with PBS, the cells can be analyzed using a flow cytometer. Technical notes: Use a suitable isotopic control to set gates and compensate for fluorescence overlap.

Both protocols require optimization of the antibody dilution and incubation times for specific experimental conditions. Controls, such as isotypic or pre-immune sera, should be included to verify specificity.

**IF Protocol**

Use assay conditions validated for IF, apply Goat Anti-Rat IgG/RBITC at the recommended working dilution, include proper positive and negative controls, perform thorough wash steps, and document incubation time, temperature, and detection conditions for reproducible performance. Recommended dilution: FCM=1:50-500;

IF=1:50-500.

**FCM Protocol**

Use assay conditions validated for FCM, apply Goat Anti-Rat IgG/RBITC at the recommended working dilution, include proper positive and negative controls, perform thorough wash steps, and document incubation time, temperature, and detection conditions for reproducible performance. Recommended dilution: FCM=1:50-500;

IF=1:50-500.

Precautions

Store at 2-8°C, handle with care, and optimize antibody dilution and incubation times for specific applications.
