The Goat Anti-Mouse IgM/AP antibody is designed for use in various applications including Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin-embedded sections (IHC-P), Immunohistochemistry on Frozen sections (IHC-F), and Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The recommended dilutions are WB=1:1000-10000, IHC-P=1:100-500, IHC-F=1:100-1000, and ELISA=1:1000-10000.
For Western Blotting, prepare samples by lysing cells or tissues in an appropriate buffer. Load the samples onto an SDS-PAGE gel and transfer to a membrane. Block the membrane with a blocking buffer, then incubate with the Goat Anti-Mouse IgM/AP antibody at the recommended dilution. CABter washing, detect the signal using an alkaline phosphatase substrate.
For Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin-embedded sections, deparaffinize and rehydrate the tissue sections. Perform antigen retrieval if necessary. Block endogenous peroxidase activity and incubate with the Goat Anti-Mouse IgM/AP antibody at the recommended dilution. CABter washing, apply an alkaline phosphatase-conjugated secondary antibody if necessary, and detect the signal using an alkaline phosphatase substrate.
For Immunohistochemistry on Frozen sections, fix the sections with an appropriate fixative. Block the sections with a blocking buffer, then incubate with the Goat Anti-Mouse IgM/AP antibody at the recommended dilution. CABter washing, apply an alkaline phosphatase-conjugated secondary antibody if necessary, and detect the signal using an alkaline phosphatase substrate.
For ELISA, coat the wells of a microtiter plate with the antigen. Block the wells with a blocking buffer, then incubate with the Goat Anti-Mouse IgM/AP antibody at the recommended dilution. CABter washing, detect the signal using an alkaline phosphatase substrate.
Technical notes: Optimize the antibody dilution and incubation time for each application. Use appropriate controls to verify the specificity of the antibody.
Store at -20°C, handle with care, use appropriate controls, and optimize antibody dilution and incubation time for each application.
