The BSA/Solar Fluor 532 antibody is a valuable tool for detecting Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) in various applications. Here, we provide protocols for the validated application key: IF (Immunofluorescence).
For IF, the following steps are recommended:
- Reagents or buffers: PBS, BSA/Solar Fluor 532 antibody, secondary antibody if necessary, mounting medium with DAPI.
- Sample preparation: Fix cells or tissue sections with 4% paraformaldehyde, permeabilize with 0.1% Triton X-100 if necessary.
- Antibody incubation: Incubate samples with BSA/Solar Fluor 532 antibody at a dilution of 1:50-500 in PBS with 1% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature or overnight at 4°C.
- Washing or detection: Wash samples thoroughly with PBS, then incubate with secondary antibody if necessary. Detect using a fluorescence microscope.
- Technical notes: Optimize antibody dilution and incubation time based on specific experimental conditions. Controls without primary antibody should be included to assess background fluorescence.
Use assay conditions validated for IF, apply BSA/Solar Fluor 532 at the recommended working dilution, include proper positive and negative controls, perform thorough wash steps, and document incubation time, temperature, and detection conditions for reproducible performance. Recommended dilution: IF=1:50-500.
Store at 4°C, handle with care, include negative controls, and optimize antibody dilution for best results.
