The Mouse Anti-Bovine IgG/AP antibody is a versatile tool for detecting bovine IgG in various applications.
For Western blotting, prepare samples by separating proteins using SDS-PAGE and transferring them to a membrane. Block the membrane with 5% non-fat milk in TBS-T for 1 hour. Incubate the membrane with the Mouse Anti-Bovine IgG/AP antibody at a dilution of 1:1000-10000 in TBS-T for 1 hour. Wash the membrane three times with TBS-T and detect using an alkaline phosphatase substrate.
For immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded tissues, deparaffinize and rehydrate tissue sections. Block endogenous peroxidase activity and incubate with the Mouse Anti-Bovine IgG/AP antibody at a dilution of 1:100-1000 for 30 minutes. Use a biotinylated secondary antibody and an avidin-biotin complex for detection.
For immunohistochemistry on frozen tissues, fix tissue sections with acetone and incubate with the Mouse Anti-Bovine IgG/AP antibody at a dilution of 1:100-1000 for 30 minutes. Use a fluorescently labeled secondary antibody for detection.
For ELISA, coat plates with bovine IgG and block with 5% non-fat milk in PBS. Incubate with the Mouse Anti-Bovine IgG/AP antibody at a dilution of 1:1000-10000 for 1 hour. Detect using an alkaline phosphatase substrate.
Technical notes: Optimize antibody dilutions and incubation times for each application to achieve the best results.
Store at 2-8°C. Handle with care, avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Use appropriate controls and optimize antibody dilutions for each application.
